What I Drew this Month

This is basically half a cupcake recipe, well, the ingredients only.

All Cinderella's mice are cute, but to me Gus Gus is the cutest!

Anna! :) To be honest, I like her character way more than Elsa.

Olaf!

And this last one is a "realistic" drawing based on a picture I was sent.

Sprinkle Jar | DIY

Hello peeps! If you'd like to recreate this cute jar to store your sprinkles, here's how to!

You'll need a glass jar, lots of nail paint, scissors, some paper, a glue stick, and some tape.

1. Accordion-fold your paper as shown.

2. Draw two hearts (one should be slightly bigger) on the top layer.

3. Cut out the hearts, and you should have as many hearts as the number of the folds you've made.

7 big hearts and 5 small ones should do.

4. Stick the hearts around the neck and the bottom of the jar as shown in the picture.

5. Tape round the jar, above the bottom hears,

and beneath the upper ones.

6. Paint over the hearts using your favorite nail paint.

7. Draw a little baking mitten and a handkerchief in between the tape lines you had made earlier.

8. Work on the design. I filled in the patterns using an ivory nail paint, and then used a pink color to add some more details.

9. Peal off the tape and the paper hearts once the nail paint is dried.

And your jar should look like this. I also polka-dotted the neck area.

To make my sprinkle jar more into baking, I used this cupcake as the cork/lid. I will make a post on how to make a cupcake like this soon. I had made it out of hot glue last year.

10. Fill your jar with your favorite sprinkles or whatever baking decorations, and you're done! :)

My First Lalaloopsy Doll ♥

I had wished to own a Lalaloopsy so bad forever, and all the pictures I saw on Instagram and stuff melted my heart. A few days ago, I was in a mall with my mom, and we walked past a new big toy shop... Well, not PAST it, cuz I always have to take a look inside toy shops. So I walked in, and I found myself in doll heaven right at the front isle! Among all the Lalaloopsies, I chose Berry, and I love her so much! :)

As you can see in the last picture, Berry has made friends with BarfDoone, and they're getting along so well!

Sew magical, sew cute!

A Bobby Pin's Life

If you have long hair, then you know what a lifesaver a bobby pin is! And if you're a girl with long hair, you've most definitely owned 132,438,347,983,509 bobby pins in your life, but you always have to miserably look for a tight pair to quickly fix things up while you're in a rush.

Here's a documentary of the life of one of these little guys!
(Right click and view the image in another tab to see it larger. There are details you don't wanna miss!)

In 1899 the bobbing pin came into wide use as the hairstyle known as the "bob cut" or "bobbed hair" took hold. It was invented in Paris by Robert (Bobby) Pinot. As foreigners caught wind of his invention, the hairstyle gained momentum and the pin became known as "Bobby's pin." This trend gained popularity in the 1920s because the hair grips kept their bobbed hair in place. A trademark on the term "bobbie pin" was held for some decades by Smith Victory Corporation of Buffalo, New York. A trademark infringement claim made by Smith Victory Corporation against Procter & Gamble regarding their naming their home permanent product Bobbi was settled in the 1950s by a payment to Smith Victory Corporation by P&G. The term is now in common usage and therefore is no longer a valid trademark. Similarly, the British "kirby grip" is derived from the trademark Kirbigrip, used by a Birmingham manufacturer of such pins, Kirby, Beard & Co. Ltd. (Source: Wikipedia)

Yummy Origami

I decided to put together pictures of all origami pieces I've made so far that have to do with food in one blog post. So here they are.

I'll film a video on how to make these strawberries soon as I get some time.

Milk cartons! These two are my personal favorites.

Candy gift boxes

Just a simple paper cupcake case, and lucky stars. I came up with this idea two summers ago.

Lucky heart cupcake. I'll make a video tutorial on these hearts sometime soon, too.

Veggies! A mushroom, an eggplant, a carrot, a yellow pepper, a radish, and a tomato. These used to make our fridge look cute for about two years, but we got bored and they've been replaced with other decorations now.

Candy boxes! I love these so much!

The pictures above are all Instagram ones taken by an iPhone, so please excuse the not-so-good quality.

P. S. Don't forget to download your free February wallpaper here. I'll be doing monthly (or maybe more) freebies from now on.

I received my Danbo as a gift in summer 2011, and here are some (lots) of the pictures I'd taken of her back in 2011. (You'll scroll down forever! :D )

Danbo in love!

Little Red Riding Hood.

Fascinated by my then-invention magic bulb! Ha!

Photoshoot with her bestie.

Mirror / reflection obsession!

SNOOOOOOOWWWWW!

Looking up a word. Not sure what word it was, though.

Reading for her bestie! :)

Little snow angel! On another note, MORE SNOW!!!
