Fairytale Update

Do you remember my Origami Fairytale? Well, here's an update! In paper years, the Princess and the Prince have been married for two years and a half now, and guess what? THEY'VE JUST HAD A BABY!

Aren't these baby shoes adorable? Such gender spoiler pictures, I know!

Of course it's a girl!

A cute chubby baby girl! :)

I made a tutorial on how to make these winged hearts today, and you can watch it here:

How to Make Origami Lucky Stars ★

To make an origami lucky star, you'll need a narrow strip of paper. I've used a 1*15 cm strip here.

Tie a knot at the end of the paper, then pull the other end to flatten the knot.

Fold the tiny bit that's left out of the knot behind, and start wrapping the paper, which means folding alongside the edges.

Once you're done wrapping, tuck the small remainder of the paper inside the pocket at the back.

Start pinching every edge with your thumb and index finger nails gently, to create the 5 points of the star. Each pinch makes a point.

And you're done!

Lucky Stars

I have a zillion origami lucky stars in my origami collection, and since festivity is on everywhere for Christmas, I decided to glam a few of them up with some glitter the other day.

I am SUCH a huge glitter fan! :D
